Therapeutic Community: Gaudenzia Erie, Inc. (Crossroads) is a Therapeutic Community (TC), which is a value-based drug treatment programs that focus on the “view of right living.” This view emphasizes truth and honesty, the work ethic, learning to learn, personal accountability, economic self-reliance, responsible concern for peers, family responsibility, community involvement and good citizenry.

Treatment Phases:
1. Orientation, 2. Intensive Therapy, 3. Re-Entry,
4. Continuing Care

Family Program: Significant family members are welcome to participate in the Family Program. A family orientation session is scheduled shortly after admission. Any family member wishing to have visitation with the resident is required to attend the Family Program which meets every week.

Level of care is dependent on admission assessment and referral source. Clients must be at least 18 years of age, drug and alcohol free (detox can be administered in-house), and meet Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria (PCPC).
